How To Use Magnetic Eyeliner

Whether you’re getting ready for an online meeting, a night out on the town, or a night in with that special someone, false eyelashes can add a dramatic finishing touch to your makeup look.

While you may already love your natural lashes, don’t be shy! For that extra feeling of glam, you can add depth and dimension to your eyes with false eyelashes.

If you’ve used falsies in the past, you might have felt like you needed a full day and a completely clear schedule before you could even think about applying false lashes to your lids. But now, you don’t have to worry about all of that. There is a quicker, easier, and more sustainable solution to applying false lashes so you can look twice as glam with only half the effort: magnetic lashes!

Easy Application

With traditional false eyelashes, there was a multi-step process of applying glue, trimming the lashes, and trying multiple times to get the lashes on just perfectly without any mishaps.

Apply magnetic eyeliner at the same time as you would your normal eyeliner: after your eyeshadow and before your mascara. Look down and to the opposite direction of your applying hand—don’t stretch your eyelid down!

Try to get the eyeliner as close to your lash line as possible; remember, your eyelashes will sit directly on top of the magnetic eyeliner, so you want it to look as natural as possible.

Magnetic eyeliner is liquid and goes on smoothly with the added benefit of conditioning your skin. Allow three to five minutes for the liner to dry completely.

While you’re waiting, apply your mascara and any other finishing touches to your face such as highlighter, lip liner, or lipstick.

To make sure that the magnetic eyeliner is completely dry, gently pat the outer corner of your eyelid with your ring finger. If there is no eyeliner transfer onto your finger, you’re ready to apply those lashes!

Remove the lashes from their case and gently place them on your lash line, directly on top of the magnetic liner. They should lightly snap into place. Voila! Now you’re ready to wow and woo them with your beautiful, full lashes.

Easy Removal

Magnetic lashes should hold fast for up to 12 hours, assuming you don’t get caught in a torrential downpour! Even with their superior staying power, these lashes are super easy to remove and care for.

When you’re preparing for your nightly routine, gently remove the magnetic lashes with a small tug—but be careful not to accidentally yank your real lashes. Clean the lashes with an oil-free micellar water before placing them in their protective case.

To remove the magnetic liner from your eyelids, soak a cotton ball or cotton pad in eye makeup remover and gently dab the liner and eye makeup off of your lid.

Follow up with your regular nightly routine of face washing, toning, moisturizing, and any serums you may use, and you’re all set!

Magnetic Lashes: All the Glam, None of the Hassle

Magnetic eyeliner and magnetic lashes are so easy to apply and stay on with so little hassle, it’s a wonder that you’d even want to mess with sticky glue, tweezers, and multiple applications of traditional glue-on lashes ever again.
